About the Organization

The Alexandria chapter of Indivisible is a local grassroots civic‑advocacy group that is part of the broader Indivisible movement. It organizes volunteers and constituents in Alexandria, VA to educate residents, engage in direct advocacy with elected officials, run voter‑engagement activities, and mobilize on state and federal progressive policy priorities.

Policy Goals

Typically pursues defending democratic institutions and voting rights, accountability and transparency of elected officials, and progressive policy priorities such as expanded healthcare access, climate action, reproductive rights, immigration reform, gun violence prevention, and economic justice at local, state, and federal levels.
