About the Organization

The Initiative for Medicines, Access, and Knowledge (I-MAK) is a U.S.-based nonprofit advocacy organization focused on making the medicines system more just and equitable by improving access to affordable medicines and challenging patent practices that can block competition.

Policy Goals

Drug pricing and affordability, patent and intellectual property reform, access to medicines, public health policy, transparency in pharmaceutical patenting, and consumer/patient protections in health care markets.
