The International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA) is a national trade association representing the dairy manufacturing and marketing industry in the United States. Its mission is to advance the interests of dairy processors, manufacturers, marketers, and suppliers by advocating for policies that support innovation, food safety, sustainability, and growth within the dairy sector.
Agricultural policy, food and beverage regulation, dairy pricing and federal milk marketing orders, nutrition programs, food safety standards, trade policy, labeling requirements, sustainability initiatives, and labor and supply chain issues affecting dairy producers and processors.
Funded primarily through membership dues from dairy processors, manufacturers, marketers, and industry suppliers, as well as conference and event revenue.
Represents major dairy companies and cooperatives such as Dairy Farmers of America, Land O’Lakes, Nestlé USA, Danone North America, and other dairy processors and industry suppliers.
