About the Organization

The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) is a U.S.-based trade association representing foodservice distribution companies and their supplier partners. Headquartered in McLean, Virginia, IFDA advocates for the foodservice distribution industry before federal policymakers and regulators, and provides research, education, industry events, and best practice resources to support safe, efficient, and sustainable foodservice supply chains serving restaurants, schools, healthcare facilities, and other professional kitchens.

Policy Goals

IFDA typically pursues federal policies related to food safety and traceability, transportation and supply chain regulation, labor and workforce development, tax and trade policy, regulatory reform, environmental and sustainability initiatives, and public procurement issues affecting foodservice distributors.
