The Iowa Corn Growers Association (ICGA) is a farmer-led, membership-based organization that advocates for the interests and long-term profitability of Iowa corn producers. ICGA works alongside the checkoff-funded Iowa Corn Promotion Board to promote market development, research, and sustainable production practices while representing Iowa corn growers in state and federal policy debates.
State and federal agricultural policy including farm safety net and crop insurance, renewable fuels and ethanol policy (including RFS issues), market development and trade, conservation and water quality initiatives, agricultural research and innovation, rural infrastructure and regulatory/tax issues affecting corn growers
Primarily funded by member dues, event and sponsorship revenue, and other association fundraising; market development and research activities are financed separately through checkoff dollars administered by the Iowa Corn Promotion Board
