The Jesuit Conference Office of Justice and Ecology is the Washington, D.C.-based advocacy and government relations office of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States. Grounded in Catholic social teaching and Ignatian spirituality, it promotes social and ecological justice through federal advocacy, policy analysis, and collaboration with Jesuit ministries and partner organizations.
Immigration reform, criminal legal system reform, economic justice, environmental and climate policy, racial justice, Indigenous peoples’ rights, and broader policies that support human dignity, care for creation, and the common good.
Primarily supported by the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States and the broader Jesuit Catholic network.
