About the Organization

The Jewish Institute for National Security of America (JINSA) is a U.S.-based Jewish non-profit policy institute that works to strengthen U.S. national security and U.S.–Israel strategic cooperation by educating lawmakers and the public, convening current and former defense and intelligence leaders, and advocating policies that support robust defense, intelligence, and bilateral military collaboration.

Policy Goals

U.S. national security and defense policy, U.S.–Israel strategic and military cooperation, arms sales and missile defense, counter-proliferation and counterterrorism, Middle East security (including Iran), support for strong U.S. defense capabilities and a robust defense industrial base

Funding

Primarily private philanthropic donations, foundation grants, membership and event revenue (conferences and briefings)

Retired U.S. military and intelligence leaders, Israeli security officials, policy experts and pro‑Israel policy networks and congressional allies
