K9s For Warriors is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing highly trained service dogs to U.S. military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma. Its mission is to prevent veteran suicide and improve veterans’ quality of life by pairing them with rescue dogs trained to perform specific tasks and provide therapeutic support.
