The Kansas Bankers Association (KBA) is the statewide trade association that represents and supports Kansas banks and banking professionals. KBA provides advocacy, education, training, compliance resources, and member services aimed at promoting sound financial policies, community banking, workforce development, and economic growth across Kansas.
State and federal banking regulation and supervision, community and agricultural banking issues, deposit and consumer protection policy from a bank perspective, tax and economic development measures affecting financial institutions, workforce development and educational initiatives, fintech and payments policy, and legislative/regulatory advocacy on behalf of member banks
Primarily funded by membership dues from Kansas banks and financial institutions, plus event and conference fees, sponsorships, program fees, and support for affiliated educational programs
Kansas Bankers Educational Foundation (KBEF), BankPAC (KBA’s political action committee), the American Bankers Association, and KBA leadership and member bank executives (including the association’s President & CEO)
