About the Organization

The Labor Council for Latin American Advancement (LCLAA) is a national organization founded in 1973 that advocates for the rights and advancement of Latino workers and their families in the United States and Puerto Rico. It works to increase Latino participation in the labor movement and civic life, promote economic justice, and address issues such as immigration reform, workers’ rights, education, healthcare access, and civil rights.
