The Laborers’ International Union of North America (LIUNA) is a labor union representing workers in construction, energy, public service, and related industries across the United States and Canada. Its mission is to advocate for fair wages, safe working conditions, benefits, and training opportunities for its members.
LIUNA typically pursues policies related to labor rights, prevailing wage laws, workplace safety standards, infrastructure investment, project labor agreements, apprenticeship and workforce development programs, energy and construction industry regulations, and collective bargaining protections.
The organization is primarily funded through membership dues and related union assessments.
