The Land Trust Alliance is a national conservation organization that works to save the places people need and love by strengthening land conservation across the United States. Founded in 1982, it supports a network of community-based land trusts by providing training, resources, advocacy, and standards to protect natural lands, working farms and ranches, wildlife habitat, and outdoor recreation areas.
