Lawyers for Good Government (L4GG) is a national legal advocacy group that mobilizes lawyers, law students, and legal professionals to provide large-scale pro bono legal services and to defend democracy, civil and human rights, reproductive justice, immigrant rights, environmental justice, and the rule of law.
Advocacy and programs focused on voting rights and election monitoring, reproductive rights and health equity, immigrants' and asylum rights, climate change and environmental justice, racial justice, government accountability, and defending judicial independence and the rule of law.
Primarily funded by individual donors and philanthropic grants, supplemented by fundraising partnerships with law firms and corporate legal departments and by in-kind support through coordinated pro bono legal services.
Traci Feit Love (founder and executive director), the L4GG Action Fund (501(c)(4)), and numerous partnering law firms and corporate legal departments that supply pro bono volunteers and support.
