About the Organization

The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts is the state chapter of the nonpartisan League of Women Voters; it works to encourage informed and active participation in government, increase understanding of public policy issues, and advocate for fair, accessible elections and representative government in Massachusetts.

Policy Goals

Typically advocates for voting rights and access, election administration and reform, redistricting and fair-districts measures, campaign finance reform, government transparency and ethics, civic education, and other public policy positions decided by its grassroots membership.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues and individual donations, supplemented by grants, foundation support, and fundraising events.
