Legal Rights for the Salish Sea is a grassroots advocacy organization dedicated to securing legal rights and protections for the Salish Sea ecosystem. The group works to advance a Rights of Nature framework that recognizes the inherent rights of the Salish Sea to exist, flourish, and regenerate, and supports community-led legal strategies to protect the region’s waters, marine life, and surrounding habitats.
