The Leon County Democratic Executive Committee (commonly known as Leon Democrats or Leon Co. Dems) is the county-level Democratic Party organization for Leon County, Florida. Its stated mission is to organize and mobilize local voters, recruit and support Democratic candidates for local, state, and national office, run voter registration and get-out-the-vote programs, host community events and issue forums, and promote the Democratic Party’s values within the county.
Electoral organizing and candidate support, voter registration and turnout, civic engagement and public education on elections, and advocacy aligned with mainstream Democratic priorities at the local level (including issues such as access to voting, public education, healthcare access, environmental protection, and reproductive rights).
