About the Organization

The Los Angeles LGBT Center is one of the largest community-based organizations serving lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people, providing health care, HIV services, mental health, housing, youth and senior programs, education, cultural initiatives and public-policy advocacy to advance health, safety and equity for LGBTQ+ Angelenos.

Policy Goals

Advocacy for LGBTQ+ civil rights and anti-discrimination laws, expanded access to HIV prevention and care, transgender healthcare access, homelessness and affordable housing solutions for LGBTQ+ people, youth protections and services, public health funding and equity-focused social services policy

Primarily private philanthropy (individual donors and foundations), program service revenue and government grants and contracts
