About the Organization

The Louisville & Jefferson County Metropolitan Sewer District (MSD) is the regional public utility responsible for wastewater treatment, stormwater management, and flood protection services in Louisville and Jefferson County, Kentucky. Its mission is to protect public health and safety through sustainable solutions, fiscal stewardship, and strategic partnerships.
