The Main Street Competition Coalition is a bipartisan, cross-sector advocacy coalition that represents independent businesses and agricultural producers seeking stronger competition and fairer markets across the U.S. economy. It focuses on antitrust and market power issues affecting Main Street businesses such as grocers, pharmacists, farmers, franchisees, and other independent firms.
Stronger antitrust enforcement, opposition to market concentration and exclusionary practices, reduced regulatory capture, and policy reforms aimed at restoring competitive fairness for independent businesses and agricultural producers.
Primarily supported by member organizations, trade associations, and allied businesses and advocacy partners.
Founded by the National Grocers Association and the National Community Pharmacists Association; associated with independent businesses, agriculture producers, legal practitioners, and academics involved in competition policy.
