About the Organization

The Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA) is a professional organization representing the chief executives of the largest law enforcement agencies in the United States and Canada. Its mission is to provide a forum for police executives to share best practices, develop policy recommendations, and advocate for public safety strategies that enhance community safety and effective law enforcement.

Policy Goals

Criminal justice reform, public safety funding, law enforcement best practices, crime reduction strategies, homeland security, immigration enforcement coordination, technology and data sharing, and federal support for local policing agencies

Funding

Membership dues from participating law enforcement agencies and conference or event-related revenue
