About the Organization

Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance (MassFiscal) is a state-level advocacy organization that promotes fiscal responsibility, transparency, and accountability in Massachusetts government. Founded in 2012, it produces public analysis and a legislative scorecard, runs advocacy campaigns and fellowship programs, and seeks to influence policy debates around state spending, taxation, and regulatory decisions to encourage what it describes as more efficient, business-friendly government.

Policy Goals

Fiscal restraint and budget accountability, tax and regulatory reform favorable to businesses and taxpayers, opposition to large or unexplained public spending projects, government transparency and accountability measures, education and workforce development policies emphasizing cost-effectiveness
