The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is a federally recognized sovereign Native American tribal government based in South Florida’s Everglades region. The tribe works to preserve Miccosukee culture, language, and traditions; provide social services and economic opportunity for its citizens; and exercise self-governance and jurisdiction over tribal lands and affairs.
