About the Organization

Founded in 1903, the Michigan Agri-Business Association (MABA) is a statewide trade association representing nearly 300 agribusinesses across Michigan’s food and agriculture value chain. Based in Lansing, MABA advocates for the development and prosperity of Michigan agriculture through policy engagement, education, information sharing, and industry collaboration.

Policy Goals

Agricultural policy, agribusiness regulation, food and feed safety, environmental and energy policy, transportation and logistics, workforce development, tax policy, and state and federal regulatory issues affecting agricultural retailers, grain handlers, food processors, and related industries.

Funding

Primarily funded through member dues, event revenues, sponsorships, and contributions, including support for its Educational Trust through fundraising events and donations.

Affiliates

Member companies spanning agricultural retail, grain and feed, food processing, logistics, and professional services; Michigan Agri-Business Association Educational Trust; partnerships with state and federal policymakers and industry stakeholders.
