About the Organization

The Minnesota Broadcasters Association is a statewide trade association for Minnesota radio and television broadcasters. It says its mission is to advocate for broadcasting, represent the radio and television industry and related platforms, and provide member services such as legal counsel, education, and professional development.

Policy Goals

Broadcasting, media and communications policy, advertising regulation, state and federal legislative advocacy, regulatory compliance, public affairs, and workforce/professional development issues affecting radio and television stations.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues and association-related program and event revenue from member stations and associate members.

Affiliates

Member stations and associate member companies across Minnesota; board leadership includes executives from Gray Media, Townsquare Media, Lakeland Media, Hubbard Television, FOX Television, TEGNA, iHeartMedia, and Hubbard Radio.
