The Missouri Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (MASWCD) is a statewide nonprofit organization that serves as the voice for Missouri’s 114 Soil and Water Conservation Districts on state legislative issues. Its mission is to promote the conservation of soil and water resources and to provide leadership in conservation education, while offering a forum for training, policy development, and information exchange among local districts.
Soil and water conservation policy, agricultural best management practices, conservation cost-share programs, natural resource management, conservation education, and funding for programs supported by the Parks, Soils and Water Sales Tax.
Membership dues from Missouri’s soil and water conservation districts, charitable contributions, and grant funding, including public conservation program support.
