The Montana Cattlemen’s Association is a producer-driven grassroots organization representing Montana cattle producers and ranchers. It says its mission is to increase profitability for the Montana cattle industry while advancing the environmental, cultural, and historical interests of cattle producers and rural Montana.
Agriculture and livestock policy, including cattle market access, country-of-origin labeling, animal identification, property and water rights, beef checkoff, animal health and welfare, marketing and competition, wildlife management, global trade, youth in agriculture, and government relations.
Primarily funded by member dues, memberships, and related association support.
Montana cattle producers and ranchers; its board of directors and officers; it also works within the broader Montana beef and livestock policy community.
