About the Organization

The NAACP Political Action Committee is the affiliated federal PAC of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People that mobilizes electoral activity and endorses candidates to advance civil rights, voting rights, racial equity, criminal justice reform, and economic and educational opportunity for Black Americans and other marginalized communities.

Policy Goals

Endorsing and supporting candidates and policies related to civil and voting rights, anti-discrimination and equity measures, criminal justice reform, education equity, economic opportunity and workforce development, health equity, and judicial and executive appointments that protect civil liberties.

Funding

Primarily funded by individual contributions, member and supporter donations, fundraising events and solicitations coordinated with the NAACP and its state and local branches, and transfers from the parent organization.

Affiliates

National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund (separate nonprofit), state and local NAACP branches, and civil-rights leaders and elected officials who receive NAACP endorsements.
