The National Alliance of Healthcare Purchaser Coalitions is a nonprofit, purchaser-aligned organization that convenes regional business and purchaser coalitions to advance affordable, high-quality, equitable health care. It amplifies the voice of employers and other plan sponsors on payment and delivery reforms, price and pharmacy benefit transparency, value-based purchasing, and policies affecting employer-sponsored coverage; its members collectively represent coalitions whose employer and purchaser members provide health benefits to tens of millions of Americans.
Advocates for health care cost containment and market transparency, PBM and pharmacy benefit reform, prescription drug pricing reforms, hospital pricing transparency, value-based payment and delivery models, purchaser-driven purchasing strategies, employer-sponsored coverage policy, health equity and whole-person care initiatives, and state and federal policy changes that affect plan sponsors and purchasers.
Primarily funded by membership dues from regional purchaser coalitions and employer members, event and program fees, sponsorships and partnerships, and grant or program revenue.
