About the Organization

The National Association of Assistant United States Attorneys (NAAUSA) is a professional association for federal prosecutors and civil attorneys serving as Assistant U.S. Attorneys. It advocates for the interests of AUSAs, including pay, workplace conditions, professional support, and policies affecting the Department of Justice and federal law enforcement.

Policy Goals

Federal criminal justice and law enforcement policy, Department of Justice appropriations, prosecutor compensation and workplace conditions, work-life/family-friendly employment policies, and legislation affecting the mission and institutional interests of Assistant U.S. Attorneys.

Funding

Primarily member dues, sponsorships, and association revenue from membership-related activities.
