About the Organization

The National Association of Broadcasters is the leading trade association for America’s television and radio broadcasters. It advocates for local broadcasters, promotes innovation in broadcasting technology, and supports education and public-service initiatives that help stations serve their communities.

Policy Goals

Broadcast regulation, FCC and telecommunications policy, media ownership rules, spectrum and technical standards, public safety and emergency alerting, copyright and content policy, and tax and business policies affecting broadcasters.

Funding

Primarily funded by membership dues and revenue from industry events, services, and sponsorships.

Affiliates

State broadcast associations, member television and radio stations, and the NAB Leadership Foundation.
