NAIFA Washington is the state chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, a nonprofit professional association representing insurance agents and financial advisors in Washington State. It advocates for a positive legislative and regulatory environment, provides professional development and continuing education, and promotes ethical conduct among members while supporting consumer financial security.
State-level insurance and benefits regulation; licensing and continuing-education requirements for agents and advisors; retirement security and annuity policy; tax and small-business issues affecting advisors; consumer protection and anti-fraud measures as they relate to insurance and financial planning; advocacy for market access and practice standards for advisors.
Primarily funded by member dues, event and conference fees, sponsorships and partnerships, continuing-education program revenue, and contributions coordinated through affiliated political action committees.
