The National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) is the national labor union representing city delivery letter carriers employed by the United States Postal Service. Founded in 1889 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., NALC’s mission is to protect letter carriers’ jobs, wages, benefits and safety, enforce collective-bargaining agreements, and defend the public-service role and integrity of the U.S. Postal Service.
