About the Organization

The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) is a national coalition of police unions, associations, and law enforcement officers founded in 1978. NAPO’s stated mission is to represent and advance the professional, economic and legislative interests of its members by lobbying Congress and the federal executive branch, providing legal advocacy and education, and running programs such as the annual TOP COPS awards and a relief fund for officers and families.
