The National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) is a coalition of police unions and law enforcement associations representing rank-and-file officers, sergeants, and other public safety personnel across the United States. Its mission is to advance the interests of law enforcement officers through legislative advocacy, legal representation, and public policy initiatives that support officer safety, due process, and professional standards.
NAPO advocates for federal and state legislation related to law enforcement officer safety, collective bargaining rights, pension and retirement protections, qualified immunity, crime reduction initiatives, public safety funding, and criminal justice policy reforms affecting police personnel.
Membership dues from affiliated police unions and associations, conference and event revenue, and related organizational activities.
Affiliated with numerous local and state police unions and associations nationwide; operates the NAPO Political Action Committee (NAPO-PAC).
