National Barley Growers Association

About the Organization

The National Barley Growers Association is a national trade organization representing U.S. barley producers. Its mission is to advocate for policies that support profitable barley production, promote domestic and international market access, fund research and innovation, and strengthen the economic viability of barley farming communities.

Policy Goals

Agricultural policy, federal farm bill programs, crop insurance, trade and export promotion, research funding, biotechnology regulation, conservation programs, rural development, and commodity marketing standards

Funding

Membership dues from barley producers and state grower organizations, along with industry partnerships and program funding

Affiliates

State barley grower associations, U.S. Grains Council, National Association of Wheat Growers, and other commodity and agricultural trade groups
