National Children’s Alliance (NCA) is the national membership organization and accrediting body for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs) in the United States. NCA develops and maintains national accreditation standards, provides training, technical assistance, research, and funding support, and works to ensure coordinated, trauma-informed responses to child abuse so victims receive safety, justice, and healing.
Advocates for policies that fund and strengthen Children's Advocacy Centers and multidisciplinary responses to child abuse, support trauma-informed mental health and medical services for child victims, promote accreditation and standards of practice, expand prevention and family support programs, and secure federal, state, and local resources for child-protective systems and workforce development.
Primarily funded through member dues and accreditation fees, foundation and corporate grants, federal and state grants and contracts, private philanthropic donations, and fee-for-service revenue from training and technical assistance.
