The National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that represents the state housing finance agencies (HFAs) of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. territories. Its mission is to advance affordable housing through advocacy, education, and information sharing, supporting the development, financing, and preservation of affordable rental and homeownership opportunities for low- and moderate-income households.
Affordable housing finance, Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program, tax-exempt housing bonds, housing affordability, homelessness prevention, homeownership assistance, disaster housing recovery, and federal housing appropriations and regulatory policy.
Membership dues from state housing finance agencies, conference and event revenue, and related program service fees.
