National Nurses United is the largest union and professional association of registered nurses in the United States. It advocates for nurses, patients, and public health, with a strong focus on safe staffing, workplace protections, health and safety standards, and expanded access to health care.
Safe nurse-to-patient staffing ratios, workplace health and safety, collective bargaining and labor rights, Medicare for All and other universal health care policies, patient safety protections, public health measures, and selected social justice and immigration policies affecting health and working conditions.
