National Popular Vote Inc. is a nonprofit advocacy organization that promotes the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an agreement among participating states to award their electoral votes to the candidate who wins the nationwide popular vote for President of the United States. Its mission is to ensure that the presidency reflects the choice of the national popular vote without requiring a constitutional amendment.
