About the Organization

The National Water Resources Association (NWRA) is a national non-profit organization that advocates for sound water management policies and the development, protection, and beneficial use of the nation’s water resources. It represents state and regional water management entities, irrigation districts, water suppliers, and related stakeholders, promoting infrastructure investment and balanced regulatory approaches to ensure reliable water supplies.

Policy Goals

Water infrastructure development, water storage and supply reliability, irrigation and agricultural water policy, federal water project operations, Endangered Species Act implementation, western water rights, and regulatory reform affecting water management
