The Natural Gas Council is an industry coalition that unites five major trade associations across the natural gas value chain, from production and pipelines to distribution and supply. It serves as a forum for joint statements, reports, letters, and regulatory filings representing the unified views of the U.S. natural gas industry.

Primarily funded by its member trade associations and, indirectly, by the companies represented by those associations.
