The Nebraska Broadcasters Association is a statewide trade association representing FCC-licensed local radio and television stations in Nebraska. Founded in 1934, it supports member stations through advocacy, education, innovation, and recognition of local broadcasting.
Broadcasting and media policy, FCC and telecommunications issues, public-interest broadcasting, emergency alerting and public service announcements, media access and open records/open meetings issues, and workforce or industry education matters affecting radio and television stations.
Primarily funded by member station dues, association sponsorships, convention and event revenue, and related industry services.
Member radio and television stations across Nebraska; board leadership includes executives from Nebraska Rural Radio Association, KETV, Gray Digital Media, Walnut Media, and other Nebraska broadcasters. It also works closely with the National Association of Broadcasters and related journalism and broadcasting groups.
