The Neuropathy Action Foundation is a U.S. patient advocacy organization focused on neuropathy education, awareness, and helping patients access individualized care and treatment. Its mission centers on empowering neuropathy patients, educating the public and physicians, and improving access to therapies such as immunoglobulin and other treatments.
Patient access to care, health insurance coverage and benefit design, physician and public education, patient rights, chronic disease advocacy, and policies affecting access to neuropathy treatments and immunoglobulin therapy.
Primarily funded by tax-deductible donations and contributions from supporters.
Founded by Dominick Spatafora; associated with a board and medical advisory community that includes neurologists and neuromuscular specialists such as Richard Lewis, Tahseen Mozaffar, Jeffrey W. Ralph, David Saperstein, Annabel K. Wang, and Gil I. Wolfe.
