About the Organization

The New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies, Inc. (NJAMHAA) is a statewide trade association representing behavioral health, mental health, substance use disorder, and related service providers in New Jersey. Its mission is to champion, support, and promote the value of its member organizations and to strengthen access to high-quality community-based care.

Policy Goals

Behavioral health, mental health, substance use disorder treatment, intellectual/developmental disabilities services, Medicaid and state funding for community providers, workforce development, regulatory and reimbursement policy, parity, and public health/health system integration

Funding

Primarily membership dues, conference and training revenue, and grants/support tied to its association and affiliated nonprofit activities
