The New York Corn & Soybean Growers Association (NYCSGA) is a grassroots agricultural organization representing corn and soybean producers across New York State. Founded in 1989, it works to develop and expand markets, sponsor research on crop production and utilization, administer the state’s soybean checkoff program as the Qualified State Soybean Board, and advocate for public policies that enhance the profitability and sustainability of New York’s corn and soybean farmers.
Agricultural policy, farm bill programs, crop insurance, biofuels and renewable fuels standards, market development and export promotion, conservation and sustainability initiatives, state research funding, and environmental and climate regulations affecting crop producers
Primarily funded through soybean checkoff assessments on farmers’ sales, program service revenue, and state legislative appropriations for research and education initiatives
