Nimiipuu Protecting the Environment is a Native-led, Nez Perce (Nimiipuu) nonprofit organization based in Lapwai, Idaho, dedicated to honoring traditional treaty rights and safeguarding sacred lands, water, and air. The organization promotes culturally grounded environmental stewardship, youth education, intergenerational leadership development, and activism to protect the 1855 Treaty territory and usual and accustomed areas of the Nimiipuu people.
