About the Organization

The North Carolina Grange is the state affiliate of the National Grange, a nonpartisan, family-oriented fraternal organization with roots in agriculture. Founded in North Carolina in 1875, it works to strengthen individuals, families, and rural and small-town communities through education, community service, grassroots advocacy, youth development, and agricultural awareness.

Policy Goals

Agricultural policy, rural community development, conservation and stewardship of natural resources, education and youth programs, rural infrastructure, and nonpartisan grassroots legislative advocacy at the local, state, and federal levels

Funding

Membership dues, charitable foundation support, program activities, and affiliated services

Affiliates

National Grange (Order of Patrons of Husbandry), local Community Granges across North Carolina, NC State Grange Foundation, Junior Grange and Grange Youth programs
