The North Carolina Nursery & Landscape Association (NCNLA) is a 501(c)(5) nonprofit trade association representing firms involved in North Carolina’s green industry, including wholesale growers, landscape contractors, retail garden centers, suppliers, educators, and students. Its mission is to provide essential value to its members through education, marketing, and advocacy while promoting and protecting the interests of the state’s nursery and landscape industries.
Agricultural and horticultural policy, nursery and landscape industry regulation, pesticide and plant health standards, workforce development and certification, small business advocacy, environmental and sustainability practices related to landscaping, and state-level economic and tax issues affecting the green industry.
Primarily funded through membership dues, conference and event registration fees, certification program fees, sponsorships, and industry partnerships.
North Carolina Plant Sciences Initiative at NC State University, Green & Growin’ Conference, Certified Plant Professional program, Future Plant Professional program, and partnerships with North Carolina green industry businesses and suppliers.
