Description: The Office of the Attorney General of Vermont is the state's chief legal office, led by the elected Attorney General, responsible for representing Vermont and its agencies in court, enforcing state law, protecting consumers, pursuing public-interest and civil enforcement actions, providing legal advice to state officials, and coordinating with law enforcement to protect Vermonters' rights and public safety.
