The Ohio Corn & Wheat Growers Association is a statewide agricultural trade organization representing nearly 2,000 corn and small grain farmers. The association advocates for public policies that support Ohio grain producers, promotes market development including ethanol and export opportunities, and works to protect farmers’ ability to operate profitably and sustainably at the state and federal levels.
Agricultural and commodity policy including farm bill programs, ethanol and biofuels expansion, trade and export promotion, tax policy, water quality regulations, infrastructure, crop risk management, and policies affecting grain market development and farmer profitability
Primarily funded through voluntary membership dues from Ohio corn and wheat farmers rather than checkoff dollars
